We are not a traditional private equity firm that uses leverage (putting your business at risk), cuts costs (firing your valuable employees), or needs to exit within a fixed investment horizon (discouraging smart long-term thinking). We value the business that you have built – we want to preserve that legacy and build on top of it. We utilize modern approaches to sales, marketing, and food partnerships, including the use of technology, to accelerate growth and maintain efficiency. We focus on culture and incentives
Our ideal acquisition is a multi-generational family business, whose owner wants a partial or complete exit. We are looking for a food co-manufacturing businesses with a long history of stable profits, greater than $2m of annual cash flow, a diversified customer base, and a depth of management to support Pangea Food Capital after the sale
Our Founder
Pangea Food Capital is founded by Yoni Ginor, who grew up in the food industry, with parents who founded a food manufacturing business. After graduating from Wharton, Yoni spent 10 years investing in manufacturing, business services, and software businesses, at several private equity and hedge funds. Most recently, as a leader at Echo Street Capital, Yoni grew the firm from 10 to 30 employees and $1B to $15B AUM. Through his network across the food supply chain, extensive investment experience, and access to capital, he is extraordinarily qualified to find, acquire, and grow a co-manufacturing business

Further, Yoni's experience with technology positions him to accelerate the software road map in the acquired business, including modern sales techniques

Yoni is passionate about finding and creating unique food products and sharing those with the world. Before attending the University of Pennsylvania, Yoni spent a year traveling across Southeast Asia and South America, where his best memories came from sharing ethnic meals with local families. It was this experience that led to the name of our investment company
